Please be advised that Brett Wells and Landyn Uhersky have made an application to operate a cannabis retail store at 191 Ambrose Lane in the Bear Country Fudge building (ice cream store) located next to Ambrose Grocery. The ice cream shop will be re-located across the parking lot. Brett and Landyn currently operate 6 retails stores across Saskatchewan.
Pursuant to the District of Lakeland’s Zoning Bylaw, this is a discretionary use in the C2 Zone, Retail and Service Commercial. All property owners located within a 75-meter radius from the above-mentioned property are required to receive notice of this potential development, and have been mailed directly. Please be aware that if the application gets approved, our Zoning Bylaw 17-2013 and our Cannabis Business Bylaw 8-2020 have certain regulations and standards that they must follow. They will also have to follow the guidelines that are set out by SLGA (Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority). Please contact myself directly if you would like a copy of the Cannabis Business Bylaw or click here to view it online.
