We are located in the heart of Saskatchewan lake country, serving the residents in and around Emma, Christopher, Anglin, and McPhee Lakes. The municipality is only 15 kilometers wide and 50 kilometers long, beginning at Christopher Lake and extending north to Timber Cove.

There are high to extreme fire hazard conditions that exist within the municipality. A fire ban has been issued and is in effect 9:00 am May 10, 2021 and will be reviewed on or before noon, May 17, 2021.

Public Notice: Supplemental Public Meeting for Elk Ridge Application for Resort Village Status

A Public Meeting was held on November 22, 2019 to present the proposal to the Public.  However, the required Restructuring Agreement was not available at that time.  Therefore, a public meeting will be held on Thursday, April 15 at 7:00 p.m. via the Zoom Platform for the purpose of presenting the Restructuring Agreement to the public.  Please refer to the District of Lakeland Meeting Agenda under the “Council” tab for access to the agreement. Public Hearing: Discretionary Use Application for Approval to Operate a Seasonal Campground for Families at the Quest

Please be advised that The Quest at Christopher Lake has made an application for a seasonal campground for families that will be attending The Quest.  The Quest is able to provide programs on weekends and day camps for the summer of 2021.  They want to be able to provide the families with the opportunity to stay in their own RV on the property as the children are not able to stay in the cabins due to provincial guidelines.  The request is for families only that will be attending the camp and the intent is to have 4 sites set aside.
